How do I bid on auction type NFTs?

Buying an auction type NFT is not so different from buying a fixed-type NFT.

The only difference is that instead of paying a fixed price, you will offer a bidding price, and may keep bidding against other bidders till the bidding period ends. Whoever offers the highest price will get the NFT.

To bid on an auction type NFT, head to its info page.

The info page of an auction type NFT.

Click "Place Bid" and offer your price, which needs to be at least 5% higher than the previous price.

Offer a price higher than the listed price to bid on an NFT.

Once a bid is placed, a warning sign will tell you not to close or refresh the page while transaction is in process. Meanwhile, your wallet window will show the gas fee of the transaction.

Do not close or refresh the page while transaction is in process. Scroll down the wallet window to confirm gas fee.

Once the gas fee is paid, your bidding is complete. You will see a pop-up note and receive a confirmation email.

Your bid is successful.

Till the end of the bidding period (which you can always check on the top of the info page), you will receive notices in your email whenever other bidders place bids on the NFT.

During this time, you may repeat bidding against other bidders by following the same steps above.

For each repeat bid placed, you will be asked to pay a gas fee. The amount of the gas fee may vary each time, depending on the blockchain traffic at the time of the action.

Once the bidding period ends, if you are the highest bidder, you will be notified by email that your bid is accepted. Congratulations!
