How do I set up my crypto wallet?

You will need a MetaMask wallet to make transactions on AF.

The MetaMask wallet exists as a web browser extension and a mobile app. For use on AF, you will need to install the web browser extension.

Go to https://metamask.io/download/ and download MetaMask for your web browser. The MetaMask extension can be installed on these browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge.

Next, follow MetaMask's instructions to set up your wallet.

You will need to create a login password for your wallet.

You will also get a Secret Recovery Phrase consisting of 12 English words.

Your Secret Recovery Phrase is important and irretrievable. So store it well following MetaMask's recommendations on how to keep it safe.

Now your wallet is pretty much set up. The initial look of your wallet page will be like this:

You may click on the round icon on the top right to find your account details.

The scroll down menu to its left lets you choose from a variety of crypto networks, the default one being Ethereum Mainnet. AF also uses Ethereum. So keep it there.

Finally, check the upper right corner of your web browser or extensions storage bar. You should be able to find MetaMask's fox icon.

Whenever you click the fox icon on the toolbar, your wallet window should show up.

Great! Now you can access your MetaMask wallet freely from your web browser.

The next step is to connect your wallet with the AF platform.
